Nadia remembers her brave older sister Rachel, aged 10, skiing down the Swiss Wall, whilst she took the chair lift down and watched. The Swiss Wall is famous for being one of the steepest and most difficult downhill runs in the world with 37° average slope and up to 76% gradient! It stretches for 1 km and its field of bumps can reach 2 meters in height.
This was an epic mountain for Nadia to paint, challenging textures of off-piste smoothness contrasting with detailed moguls. A large 100x100cm canvas.
