A study of one of the ponds in our Royal Parks, painted onto a 76x76cm chunky canvas. Reeds and long grasses cling to the perimeter of the pond, cutting into the soft surface of the pond. Nadia has achieved this with pallet knife strokes and a fine brush. A large atmospheric British sky blows overhead, reflecting its colours down into the surface water.  
Framed in a white-wash wood tray frame, taking overal size to 80x80cm.
