This is one of a series of paintings Nadia made of the Thames at Teddington Lock. The footbridge here is iconic, with its bright blue rails and soft coral suspension lines. Nadia focused the energy of the piece in the inky water, swirling in the foreground. The result is a depth of colour and dramatic lines.
